Description
The Grade 70 Clevis Grab Hook is a key component of chain rigging designed for heavy lifting, cargo securing and dynamic loading scenarios. Its unique hook structure and high strength material can effectively prevent the risk of unhooking and prolong the life of the equipment.
Material: Die forged from alloy steel 20Mn2.
Process: Forging heat treatment
Surface treatment: hot dip galvanized or sprayed with epoxy resin
Capacity: Maximum test load is 2 times the rated load, minimum breaking load is 4 times the rated load.
G70 Rating: Conforms to international standards for lifting machinery, with a rated working load (WLL) of 1/4 of the breaking load, providing 4:1 safety redundancy. For example, a 3/8 model has a breaking load of 7,500 lbs (3,402 kg) and a WLL of 1,875 lbs (850 kg).
Inspection Guarantee: 100% Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to ensure no internal cracking defects; samples are fatigue tested through 20,000 cycles to verify long-term durability
3/8-inch chain compatibility: 12.7 mm hook width fits standard 3/8-inch (9.5 mm) G70 grade chain, avoiding stress concentration caused by size mismatch.
Multi-connection: Supports pin, swivel eye or self-locking mechanism for quick installation and reduced tool dependence (self-locking optional on some models).
Matching rigging: connecting chain as lashing chains and ratchet chain binder.
Usage: You can use it for loading and unloading of ship cargo in harbor, lifting and loading of construction and heavy industry, loading and unloading of logistics and warehousing.
