Production Process of High-Quality Heavy-Duty Alloy Steel Chains

Step 1: Chain braiding Mainly molding, if there is a problem with the ring shape need to be adjusted here.

The raw material of chain is called coil, the raw material needs to be drawn before entering the factory, the specification below 8mm, 6mm, 6.3mm, 7mm, 7.1mm, 8mm is 8mm coil drawn, 10mm is 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm is 13mm drawn, 14mm, 16mm is 16mm drawn. Coil to the factory, the first need for rigorous testing, with a micrometer (accuracy of one thousandth) to measure the diameter of the material, with a hardness tester to detect the hardness (Brinell hardness between 140-170). All qualified before entering the workshop.

Step 2: Welding Mainly welding and checking the welded joints, if there is any problem with welding, you need to adjust it here.

Falcon Chain supplier's chain welding belongs to resistance butt welding (Resistance Butt Welding). Resistance Butt Welding is to assemble the weldments into butt joints, so that their end surfaces are in close contact, using resistance heat to heat to the plastic state, and then disconnect the power and quickly apply the top forging force to complete the welding method DC, the temperature can reach 800-1000 ℃ or so.

Step 3: The first calibration, Mainly calibrate the size of the chain and typing.

Step4: heat treatment Medium frequency dipping fire

The heat treatment is medium frequency dipping fire, first quenching and then tempering, the temperature of quenching is about 850-930℃, and the temperature of tempering is about 300-400 degrees. The purpose of heat treatment is to increase the hardness of the chain and ensure the tensile strength of the chain. If the temperature of heat treatment is low, the hardness is not enough, the breaking tension cannot reach the requirement, and the elongation will increase; if the temperature is too high, the hardness will become big, the elongation will decrease, and brittle breakage will happen easily.

Step 5: The second calibration, calibrate the chain size and tensile strength.

Step 6: Cutting Cut the chain to the length required by customers.

Step 7: Polishing - blackening - galvanizing and other treatments

We have three blackening pools in our workshop, the daily shipment is about 15 tons, the blackened chain needs to be tested by technicians, mainly to check the blackness, brightness and adhesion of the chain.

Cold galvanizing technology standard adopts American ASTM B695-2000 and military C-81562 mechanical galvanizing technology standard and its quality characteristics are as follows:

1, the appearance of smooth, no zinc tumors, burrs, silver-white;

2, thickness are controllable, within 5-107μm arbitrary choice;

3, no hydrogen embrittlement, no temperature hazards, can ensure that the mechanical properties of the material remains unchanged;

4, can replace part of the process that requires hot-dip galvanizing;

5, good corrosion resistance, neutral salt spray test up to 240 hours.

Step 8: Packing, woven bag packaging and iron drum packaging.

Woven bag (ton bag) is our customized high-strength woven bag with our logo and company name printed on it. The pallet is wooden pallet, the size of wooden pallet:110×105×15cm, self-weight about 10kg. A wooden pallet can bear about 1 ton at most.

Iron drums are packed in standard 500KG iron drums, the dimensions of which are 56cm in inner diameter and 95cm in height, and the self-weight of a single drum is 20KG. if the customer needs to palletize the drums, then the pallet is an iron pallet with the dimensions of 120x60x10cm and the self-weight of 10KG, and the dimensions of a well-designed pallet are 120x60x110cm.
